Batu Batu Dive our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre Awarded 10 Years Outstanding Service
At this year’s Malaysian International Dive Exhibition (MIDE) , Batu Batu Dive, our PADI Five Star Dive and Activities Centre located at Long Beach, was awarded the 10 year award for Outstanding Service.
At Batu Batu Dive, there are scuba dive experiences for almost everyone, starting as young as five years old. Five to ten year olds can spend a couple of hours on their Bubblemaker learning some basic skills and trying out breathing with a tank in the water. Upwards of ten years old, we offer the PADI Open Water Course with a maximum group size of four people per Instructor. This can be completed over a three day stay on the island as long as you register and complete your E-Learning modules at home.
For those of you who are not certified but want to giving diving a go, Discover Scuba is an excellent way to have a taste of the basics and get a first dive in with very close surveillance. We also offer PADI Refresher courses for anyone certified who has not dived in the last year. It’s an excellent way to brush up on skills and be reminded of the basics whilst also getting a shore dive on your log book.
Guests wanting to add more skills under their “belts”, we have added a series of additional PADI specialty courses including:
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Full Face Mask Diver
Digital underwater photography
Emergency oxygen provider
Besides quality training, service and safety, PADI Five Star dive centers are also committed to marine conservation and protecting their marine environments. Our team at Batu Batu Dive work closely with Tengah Island Conservation to meet these goals.
The Dive Centre opens from early March through to mid-November, weather permitting. For specific dive-related enquiries please drop us an email at dive@batubatu.com.my and cc. info@batubatu.com.my.
To adhere to local statutory regulations, and as availability is based on a first-come-first-served basis, we would appreciate you try to book as early as possible, or a minimum of 5 days in advance for dive-related activities.
